Welcome: My Name is Robart Stephen Jones. I’m the owner of the family operated, Welsh Slate Company Ltd. When I started the company in 1994, I employed two people, today I provide full time work for thirteen local people. My family and I have worked in the slate industry all of our lives. My Grandfather was the Quarry Manager at the Worlds Largest subterranean slate quarry, Llechwedd. The quarry where I as a young man learnt my trade. As a company we have a wealth of experience of working and using slate products. Experience that our customers can draw upon to satisfy their needs. Initially we retailed new and reclaimed Welsh roofing slates only, as a result of the companies success, we have extended our product and service range. We now retail Welsh, Spanish and Chinese slate products, and also provide a nationwide slate roofing and scaffolding service. under the Brand names of NS Scaffolding and Stephen Williams Roofing Information on all of our products and services are contained in this website.
